Now Assist is embedded within the ServiceNow platform and focuses on productivity features: code suggestions, text summarisation, and in-platform assistance. SN Architect operates at the delivery lifecycle level: business requirements, solution design, governed implementation, and project management. They serve different purposes. Many of our clients use both. Now Assist for in-platform productivity, SN Architect for structured delivery.
Every phase transition in the delivery lifecycle requires explicit AI Architect approval before the next phase begins. AI agents produce outputs (requirements documents, solution designs, build artifacts) and the AI Architect reviews, modifies, and approves each one. No AI-generated output reaches production without passing through a human gate. This is enforced by the platform, not left to team discipline.
SN Architect is fully GDPR compliant. We can provide private deployments for organisations with specific security or data-residency requirements. Our managed cloud models use zero data retention, meaning customer prompts, context, and outputs are not retained after processing. SN Architect can use MainStack's Marvy model family: Marvy-1 and Marvy-2 have public Hugging Face releases, while Marvy-3 and later models are proprietary.
